Hillside is a colonial 6 bedroom period property set within the hills of Braunton enjoying beautiful estuary views from the private balcony. The spacious open plan property has great facilities and is perfectly positioned for exploring the North Devon coastline.

OVERVIEW

Hillside House is one of those homes from home that combines thoughtful colonial features with a homely atmosphere. The open plan kitchen and dining space makes it easy to while away long lazy meals as a group, before heading to the living space to enjoy some time out with the large feature windows looking out into the garden and the fireplace that will cast a cosy glow across any evening. Outside, the split level terrace has a patio table and chairs, so when there's nothing left to do but sit for a while, you'll be able to sip on a glass of something bubbly and just enjoy the setting. 

Step out onto the balcony to take in the rural views and enjoy the sounds of the countryside, when its time to retire to bed the six bedrooms are all welcoming spaces to drift off to sleep in, this property's perfect for two or three families keen to spend some quality time together right here in North Devon.

Drawing room offers the perfect place to relax and unwind with the selection of books, 2 large black leather sofas (Ideal space to use the double air bed to sleep up to 13 guests.)

Open plan kitchen diner with a modern living style; breakfast bar, large wooden dining table and chairs, large American fridge freezer, dishwasher, gas 4 ringed hob, oven, microwave, 4 slice toaster, coffee machine and other appliances that you would expect from a kitchen of this standard.

  • Bedroom Four - Twin room, bedside tables and a chest of drawers.
  • Bedroom Five - Single bed, freestanding unit with toys/games for the childrens enjoyment and an LCD TV for viewing dvds - Access out onto the balcony (Restored for 2017)  Enjoy fabulous views overlooking the estuary.

Amazing location, great for walking into town and driving to beach.

House is perfect for big families as there is plenty of space with the garden, two living rooms and a big table in kitchen to seat up to 12. Great kitchen for cooking for a big group. House wasn't as clean as we would of liked, but we were there during the last week of school holidays and end of peak season. Good enough WiFi to stream (e.g. Netflix) and work from the house. Overall would recommend.
