Homely Characterful Cottage that Provides Great Value!

Great place to stay, inside and out. Didn't get to enjoy the outside space because of the weather but would be lovely on a sunny day. Easy walking to two great pubs shops and beach. Kitchen well equipped. Great having utility area for wet dogs to dry out in. Thoroughly recommend.

Beautiful cottage with lots of original features. However looking a bit worn. Comfortable beds and lovely linen. 10 minute walk to the village but beware the road can be quite busy. Stunning views from the top terrace of the garden.

We were a group of 4, who wanted a separate bedroom each. The cottage was perfect for us, just the right size. The location is good d, not far from shops and pubs. There's everything we needed in the cottage. The top decking area is a great place to have coffee in the morning. Can highly recommend.

Proximity to beach nice surroundings to walk from door and into Croyde centre comfortable beds very clean nice and big towels! Great to have utility room for dogs and for sorting wetsuits etc good amount of cups/ plates/ oven trays/ pans/ cutlery etc for self catering good communication around arrival/ heating not working at one point and house keeper replied immediately. Blankets could do with a wash in living room as smelt a bit musty. kitchen knives really need sharpening and a whisk would be helpful

Lovely stay at the cottage. Great location with a 5 minute walk to the centre of Croyde. It's very cosy and spacious for larger groups. The fire made an excellent winter addition,". Just be mindful of the early check out but there is an option for a late check out for an extra fee.

A great place for a family gathering not too far from the centre of Croyde. Very spacious and clean. Really pleased we had the option to pay and stay until the evening rather than the Sunday morning. 

This cottage and location was perfect for us. the kitchen was spacious, the beds and bed linen provided was of good quality and comfortable. there was ample places and beaches to walk the dog and despite the outside heat the cottage was cool and airy.

Just had the perfect weekend stay in Berry Cottage. Amazing location and perfect for a family getaway. Lovely big clean rooms, and the view from the top decking area was fab. Everything was lovely and clean and had everything we needed.

Lots of great walks to Saunton sands over the hills and back along the coastal path, Heddon Valley to Woody Bay, Woolacombe to Putsborough and back along the beach. Recommend the Blue Groove for great food! Thanks

Fantastic stay at Berry Cottage we all had a lovely week. Highly recommended The Thatch for gorgeous food. Ralph surf shop in Croyde was very helpful with all the surf equipment. Would recommend the walk from Croyde to Baggy Point, beautiful views. Will definitely come back in the future.

Completely fine - everything you need but doesn't feel like a loved place. On a busy road so caution needed getting babies and dogs out.

Stayed at Berry Cottage with a group of girlfriends and had a great time. The cottage is very clean, warm and cosy with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Location is great. An end terrace right on the edge of the village but still within easy walking distance of Croyde village and beach. We hope to visit again!

Six adults and two cockapoos had a lovely week at Berry Cottage.  Thanks so much for arranging sunshine every day in mid October!  Great to be able to walk to the pubs and beach in Croyde.

The facilities are fine in the cottage once you discover the hidden downstairs toilet and shower. The beds and sofas are very comfy. Even the sofa bed! It really needs a coffee table or in the lounge as there is nothing but the floor to put things on. The stairs are a bit dangerous. Watch the bottom step. It is disguised and easy to trip down. Getting in and out of the car park is also a bit scary as it's hard to see ht is coming round the bends. The best of the two terraces outside is up 40 steps but worth it when you get there :). The one just outside the second floor landing is quite nice though. It's a medium walk to Croyde village (10 mins) and a longish walk to the beach. (20 mins)

Last time we stayed at Berry Cottage I commented on the internet being slow - it was perfect this time!

An enjoyable stay but careful thought regarding the number in your party as to seating an£ sleeping arrangements. We were six and it was just about comfortable

We loved staying in Berry Cottage! It's really well equipped and cosy but also spacious. The garden is quirky but lovely for sitting in with great views. It's close to Croyde but is a tricky walk with kids!  We'll look to book with you again next year!

Fantastic cottage, really clean, cosy loved the fire, the kitchen had every cooking utensil you would need, loads of crockery and wine glasses. The only thing to watch for is the road can be busy early so you do hear the traffic in the front rooms and the garden is on levels so not great for elderly dogs or small children

Pleasantly surprised by the size, warm cosy feel and would definitely stay here again.  Ideal location with only a short walk to the main village, plenty of parking, plenty of sleeping/bed spaces and would be ideal for groups. Living space was decent and showers were nice and hot.

The cottage had more than we excepted. Berry cottage is a beautiful cosy and very comfortable cottage. There were games  in the snug room which we as a family had a lot of fun playing.  Lots of added extras. It is a bit of a walk down to the beach but a very pretty and lovely walk down, Great value for money considering the size of cottage and location.  We loved it.
