Perfect size garden for families with a dog, and garden furniture provided so we could sit outside in the sun enjoying the peaceful location. Good for those with elderly guests as there is a lovely downstairs bedroom, and downstairs bathroom - note however that bathroom doesn't have a separate shower. The master bedroom was very roomy and gorgeous, and upstairs bathroom small but glamorous with one of the best showers ever! Cottage is in a small village, which is served by a small shop and a few great pubs which do good food so very convenient to have that on your doorstep. Hard to find anything to complain about at all - the only thing I can think of is that there isn't parking directly outside, 1 car we parked in the garage about 100 yards down the street. However the village car park around the corner is free and always empty. So it really didn't bother us.

Management Comments - Parking in the garage (Small/medium sized vehicles) (30m down the road) or on the lane outside the house, additionally there is village hall parking nearby and Georgeham village car park available free of charge. 

A lovely cottage with plenty of space for six. We'll equipped and we'll placed for the beach. The downstairs bedroom is small and not really suitable for two. Good place for children. Parking only available in village hall car park really

We really enjoyed our stay in a lovely house and garden. It was set up very well for families and great to be so near the beaches. It was very clean and well equipped too. We liked Georgeham with a good village shop and pubs within easy walking distance.

Ideal holiday home for a maximum of 6 guests. Gorgeous garden & the Kings Arms is a fabulously friendly pub serving excellent meals

We were thrilled with the cottage. It was quirky, comfortable, immaculate and in a great location for the beach. House and garden were well equipped. We loved it.

Property in excellent location, it is a nice house and full of character, well equipped for comfortable stay.

Few things to consider if appropriate for your party:

- ceilings and doorways are very low in areas
- suggest park in the town hall as parking on the road not appropriate and in the garage best once unloaded and for a smaller vehicle

Perrymans Cottage was perfect place to stay for exploring North Devon.  The cottage is the best equipped holiday home we have stayed in. All essentials provided including children's toys, books and outdoor equipment.  Beds are really comfortable and plenty of hot water.  This is a gem of a place to stay.  Couldn't ask for more.  

 

Lovely house and a great location, thoroughly enjoyable stay with friends

Perrymans Cottage is a beautiful, picture postcard home in the centre of one of the loveliest villages in North Devon. For location and character this holiday home is second to none. The owners have styled and equipped their home with great thoughtfulness which only adds to the quality of stay enjoyed by guests. We have stayed in other premium accommodation in this area and Perrymans certainly holds its own for style and comfort. Would certainly consider using again.

Perrymans cottage was beautiful and perfect for a family holiday.  The cottage had everything you could want and need, and the location was great - within a 10/15 minute drive of Croyde and Putsbrough beaches and the fact you had a pre-paid parking ticket to Putsbrough meant going for an hr or so was perfect. We had an amazing time and our two boys (4 and 5) loved every minute of North Devon and the Cottage itself.

Lovely cottage, kitchen very well equipped. Loved the breakfast supplies left in fridge and breadbin, very nice touch. Lovely location, village store and pub within walking distance. Overall, very happy memories and hope to return next summer.

Lovely characterful house in a great location. Host was very helpful and quick to respond to queries. Kids really enjoyed the big garden, and it's fantastic being within walking distance of the beach.

What an utterly delightful place to stay! The cottage is beautiful and, even better, the garden. Everything has been thought of and is perfect for families with children. We could happily spend whole days there without venturing out, but the cottage is also ideally located for amazing beaches. We would definitely stay again!

OMG!! Where do we start..... The second day we decided to spend the day here at the cottage - the garden and house is so lovely and so nice to chill in. We also decided to go to The Rock, it's a very nice place to eat and a short walk away. Hope you enjoy this place as much as we did.

Wonderful home from home. This holiday accommodation delivered on all fronts, comfortable, clean, cozy, spacious and super child friendly. It has a wonderful log burner, huge table for large family meals, lovely big garden with the most amazing selection of children's toys, books, DVDs to keep our small people entertained and super speedy broadband. The kitchen is the best stocked kitchen ever. The location is fantastic, ample space for parking, close to all the best surfing beaches in Devon and within walking distance to lovely local pubs.
